Mankala is the oldest game with a lineage in early civilization in Africa played across cultures and languages. The Darbuka, a drum with Middle Eastern roots, remains instrumental in unifying people during gatherings across a region full of conflict. This interactive sculptural installation asks us to unite in playful energy and find together new flow and rhythms that may foster change.
